Well done to all players today on getting an important win against a good Bury team. It was Lolas last game for us and we wish her well for the future.
Massive congratulations to Latisha for getting her first goal for the club, it was an important moment in the game and gave us confidence after Annie scored the opener and the third from a corner.
At times there was some good football and at times we struggled but we just did enough to get the win. We need to be more intelligent and not give the opposition opportunities by being sloppy in possession, playing blind passes or playing the ball across our own box. We need to get the ball wide, and play 1- 2s.
Katya was POM for an outstanding midfield performance including scoring the winning goal.
Megan is captain next week for an energetic display- leading by example and always wanting the ball.
