Haslingden Ladies Vs Blackburn community

Blackburn was awarded a penalty at the start of the second have and it was neatly dispatched into the far corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance of saving it. Haslingden did not give up and was rewarded for the efforts to bring the score back to 2-1. This inspired the team to push for the equaliser but it was not to be as Blackburn scored a third shortly after the kick off. The game then ran away from Haslingden as Blackburn got a 4th finally going on to lost the game 1-8. Nothing can be taken away from the Haslingden side as Blackburn sit second in the North West Counties League so it was always going to be a tough game.
