Haslingden junior girls and ladies f/c have had a busy week hosting their first ever Holiday soccer club for girls and their second international game of the year against the Wanderers from Australia. The holiday club was held at Marl Pits from the 3rd to the 6th of April. Girls aged 6 to 12 enjoyed 5 hours of fun playing and learning different skills at the holiday camp. The week end with a game against the Wanderers who were on tour from Australia. A team of 14 to 16 girls lined up against a a mixture of girls of a similar age from Haslingden. The evening finished with the traditional home made meat and potato pie and peas at the Boars Head Rawtenstall.
