Haslingden junior girls and ladies celebrated their 22nd annual presentation awards at the Adrenaline Centre Haslingden on Saturday night, with over 280 people enjoying the prestigious event. The venue was chosen by the committee as it was the only place big enough to hold all the teams. With over 130 girls now playing for the club aged 6 through to ladies, the club had to accommodate the U7’s, U8’s, U9’s, 2 x U10’s, U11’s, U12’s, U13’s, U14’s, U15/U16’s and Ladies. As the following teams collected their team trophies each manger gave their opening speeches and praised the success and achievements of 2017-2018 season. The main ones to note were the U13’s finishing third and the U14’s finishing second in the North Valley and Burnley youth league. The ladies first season together saw them lift the Lancashire Women’s County League title, not losing a game all season .
